Sometimes the hardest part of a doll is finally getting the little ideas floating around in your head to become reality, and exactly how to put those pieces together. I struggled a little with this because I knew vaguely what I wanted, but not exactly how to execute it. I knew I wanted to take up some room on Mr. Unicorn’s forehead because hair wouldn’t be covering it, but only had the vaguest idea’s how.

Then I started to paint and it sort of came together. I love seeing dolls with strange symbols and mandala’s, and this seemed like the perfect opportunity.
So, without further ado, this is Micah:
I’m really pleased with how he turned out, because this is exactly what I was envisioning. Now go back to Part I and take a look at how he was before. What do you think of the changes? I’d love to know. Part III (which should be the final part) will have to do with character and customization (clothing, accessories, etc). That will probably come a few months from now depending. I of course have to pick out exactly what I want and then spend the money to buy that, which could take a little while depending. We’ll see. I hope you enjoy! More posts in the works, especially character stories. There are just a few things I want to do before I start posting so sit tight!
